Town Council Meetings:

Meetings are held the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM, at the Parker City Building.

If you have something to discuss at the meeting you must call the city building no later than 3 days before the meeting, to be placed on the agenda.


Trash is picked up each Wednesday. Large item pick up is the 1st Thursday of each month. Contact Best Way 853-1242 no later than 2 days before pick up.

Holiday Schedule: Best Way picks up trash on all holidays except for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. If collection day falls on one of these holidays, collection will be one day behind for the remainder of the week.


Shelter House: To reserve the shelter house please contact the city building as soon as possible, as it is reserved on a first come first serve basis.

Memorial Bricks:

We are still selling memorial bricks. The order form may be picked up at the city building. Bricks are $50 each.

Code Red:

The Town of Parker City has a phone, text, and email notification system for general announcements, emergency notifications, and emergency weather notifications. This is a FREE service for our Parker City in town residents. Sign up for code red by visiting our town website at: or contact the city building to register. If you move out of town you will be taken off of the Code Red notification system.

Sidewalk Replacement:

Sidewalks are the responsibility of the landowner. If you are planning on replacing your sidewalk, contact the Parker City building. The town will pay half of the material cost for replacing sidewalks.
